The Unknown Gentlemen is finally complete. There’s parts I’m proud of and other parts I struggled on. Overall I believe Project 1 turned out well, especially for being new to Photoshop.

I thought it would be interesting to put both the original painting and my recreation for project 1 next to each other since I haven’t had the chance to set them side-by-side…

I think I went a little too detailed in the area of the main facial features after I look at everyone elses…  I couldn’t help myself…  But everything in it is made using circular raster tools…  (Elliptical Marquee Tool, Hard Circular PaintBrush, Hard Circular Eraser).  Please tell me what you think.  Honestly…

Frame

This is my frame. It was hard being able to tell when it looked 3D and when it didn’t but I really like how it turned out! Looks very real. Learned lots making the frame.
